WELSH LEAGUE
The
Grapple & Strike Open League is for all levels of level 3 fighters who wish to
compete for fun or for the Championship Belt. By eliminating the punchers
chance by having no head shots, and
fought in an 18ft floor level boxing ring, the league is a great place to test
your martial arts skills and to gain valuable experience in MMA competition.
Three rounds are fought throughout the year and matches are fought over one four minute round. Points are then gained for the league tables. After the third round the top four fighters are invited back for the Championship finals where they will compete inside a cage in four man tournaments for the title belts.
NEW!! At the league we are now offering a SPECIALS section, this is where we match fighters 1 on 1 in special two round bouts. This is open to all competitors ranging from children to ladies or for male competitors who feel they would like a little experience before they jump into the league. Contact us now for more details.
